Ben and Mr. Carl traveled from Kansas to Colorado Springs, Colorado yesterday! They were delayed while travelling through Kansas due to gusts of wind that were up to 60 MPH! For about an hour and a half, they were stuck in a little po-dunk town in the middle of no where, Kansas! They also ran into some snow! But, they finally made it to the Air Force Academy in Colorado. Ben said the hotel on base was like a little condo - kitchen, couches, etc!
Today they travelled from Colorado to Wyoming. Ben said it was really pretty out there and they had great weather, too!
Tomorrow is the home stretch! They are about 460 miles away from Mountain Home, Idaho and will arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon! We are both getting really excited to see where our new home will be and what it will look like! They will stay on base Sunday night.
Monday morning Ben will report to his commander in his blues :) Then, he will be able to go to the housing office and HOPEFULLY find out more about OUR home. :-)
